The Light MAGAZINE is hosting Bridging the Gap Community Forum & Extravaganza August 8-10, 2008 to engage the Charlottesville area community in discussing the generation gap in hopes of encouraging action that will narrow the gap and improve intergenerational relationships.  We plan to address many topics and sources of misunderstandings and other perceptions that lead to continual conflict between younger and older generations.

Bridging the Gap is intended to complement The Light MAGAZINE's Summer 2008 issue, which focuses on various issues related to the generation gap. The Light is dedicated to addressing topics such as this and working toward solutions to make the community a better place. We seek to empower all citizens to take steps for effective change. The results from the Forum & Extravaganza are intended to reach far beyond the weekend's activities.
